WEATHER POLICY

On rainy days, we do our best to remain open.  If there is severe weather and/or a severe weather warning, we evaluate the safety of the situation and make our decision to close or remain open based on the local weather forecast.

Should we decide to remain open in less-than-desirable weather, we WILL require that everyone remain out of the water if there is lightening present in the atmosphere.  When the lightening stops, guests will be allowed to re-enter the lake. 

If you should choose to visit the beach on a less-than-desirable weather day, our RAIN CHECK policy is as follows:  

Full admission is required.   

Should you choose to enter the beach and then decide to leave due to weather, we do provide rain checks to patrons who have been on the beach less than ONE (1) hour.   

Please keep your receipt which is time and date stamped and present it at the office upon exiting the beach.

White Sands Lake's Rain-Out Policy allows any scheduled party or cabana rental to be rescheduled with a transfer of any money paid if bad weather requires that the Beach be Closed at the time of the scheduled reservation.  

If the Beach remains open, you may choose to reschedule your event.  

You have up to 24 hours before your scheduled visit to cancel with full refund or reschedule to another available date.
